Management
structure
In
order to establish an appropriate management structure within the
programme the number of partners has been limited to four: Uppsala
University, Sweden; the Norwegian School of Management, Oslo, Norway; IESE,
the International Graduate School of Management of the University of
Navarra at Barcelona, Spain; and the University of Reading, the United
Kingdom. In each of the partner institution there is a responsible
co-ordinator . Together the co-ordinators form an Executive Group of the
programme with professor Lars Engwall as chairman. The work within themes
are managed by theme steering groups with the theme co-ordinators as
chairmen. The Executive Group and the Theme Steering Groups communicate
basically through Internet

Figure 2. The Management Structure of the
Programme
In
addition to the four partners several other institutions are minor
subcontractors to the project through researchers collaborating with the
co-ordinating institutions on the different research issues. In each of
the institutions there are researchers associated with the programme who
will provide input to the sub-themes.
