The Intrapreneurship Compass

The Intrapreneurship Compass is an annual survey of the intrapreneurial climate in a representative sample of Swedish companies. The primary objective is to contribute to policy discussions that concern the renewal of Swedish industry. Ultimately, the collected data will allow for longitudinal research on the drivers and outcomes of corporate entrepreneurship. The first Intrapreneurship Compass was published in 2018 (www.ikompassen.se).

Change in the global business environment and the strategic and organizational responses by Swedish multinational corporations

This research project investigates how change in the global business environment, specifically the entry and expansion of new competitors from emerging economies, influences the strategy and organization of already well-established multinational corporations (MNCs). The theoretical framework revolves around sensemaking of slow-paced environmental changes, which is empirically applied to the developments of major Swedish MNCs over the period 1990-2015.

Dreaming and doing: A phenomenological study of entrepreneurial action

Can daydreaming trigger entrepreneurial action? Lately, a growing body of process studies has argued for the importance of learning from philosophy to create knowledge about elusive dimensions of entrepreneurship. The purpose of this study is to apply conceptualizations beyond the traditional economic and business-oriented approaches to develop further knowledge about the connection between “entrepreneurial dream-making” and entrepreneurial action. The study is based on a phenomenological, in-depth study at the crossroads of philosophy, entrepreneurship, and art.
