Entry requirements

To be admitted as a Master’s student applicants must meet the general and programme specific entry requirements.

General entry requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an internationally recognised university.
  • Sufficient knowledge of written and spoken English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6. This is usually done through an internationally recognised test such as TOEFL, IELTS or equivalent.

Programme specific entry requirements

The Master’s Programmes with specific requirements:

Master’s Programme in Business and Management

  • 90 ECTS credits in business studies

Master’s Programme in Accounting and Financial Management

  • 90 ECTS credits in business studies
  • 15 ECTS credits in statistics

Master's Programme in International and European Law and Business

  • 90 ECTS credits in commercial law, legal science or business studies.

What counts as business and statistics

Information about what counts as business studies and statistics at our department. The programme specific entry requirements are assessed by the Department of Business Studies and questions regarding that should be send to the Student Counsellor.


If you apply and fulfil all of the programme requirements, you will continue on to the selection process. The selection varies, depending on what programme you have applied for.
